PHYSICIAN'S CENTER OF HOUSTON
Houston, Texas, 2015
This development entailed the renovation of a 125,000 sq. ft. office building that had been damaged by Hurricane Ike. Its prominent location at the north west corner of Loop 610 and unique pre-existing geometry provided the inspiration to produce a memorable building with a new interpretation of existing conditions. This building required an exhaustive evaluation of all existing conditions by every discipline involved and a creative response to those conditions. This new creation is a medical office building containing medical practices of various disciplines, a surgical suite, as well as the managing entity for those practices. In addition, a new 450 car parking garage was included in the program adjacent to the building.
The length of this project from design to completion was approximately two years. This architect functioned as project manager and assistant to the architect of record.
